"The Web Lecture Archive Project is a pilot project of the UM-ATLAS Collaboratory
Project in coordination with the University of Michigan Media Union and CERN.
Its initial goals are to implement an electronic archival system for slide-based
presentations on the Internet, to assess the ability of the system to improve
upon and complement existing archival methods, and to determine the resources
required to install and maintain the system as a standard archival service."
